Problem

Support zips can't be created and all health checks freeze/hang.

Cause

The newest version 1.32.1 of the "Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support Tools" app is not fully compatible with Linchpin anymore.

Workaround

Workaround #1

It would be best to not update the "Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support Tools" app to version 1.32.1.

Workaround #2

If you already updated the app, then please disable the following Linchpin modules:

  • Linchpin Suite - API - linchpin.healthchecks.workboxnotification.name
  • LTP - linchpin.healthchecks.fileencodinghealthcheck.name
  • Mobile - healthcheck.linchpin.mobile.keystoreentry

Please note

All three modules listed above are affected by this issue.

This does not necessarily mean that you have to have all of them in your system. For example, if you are using Linchpin Essentials, the mobile module will be missing in your system, since Essentials doesn't offer mobile functionality.

That's perfectly fine. Just disable all available modules in your system which match the list above.

To disable the modules, navigate to Confluence administration → Manage apps.

Find the correct app (Linchpin Suite - API in the example in the GIF), then click on the x of x modules enabled button to display all corresponding modules.

Hover your mouse over the correct module and click on the Disable button.

Please note

Once a proper resolution is ready and this workaround is not needed anymore, you will have to reactivate the modules manually, too.

Once a module is deactivated by hand, it has to be reactivated by hand. App updates will not reactivate those modules.

Those health check modules are not of critical value, so temporarily disabling them (until we worked out a proper solution to this issue) should cause no problems.
