Problem

You run into problems when setting up the Linchpin Mobile Gateway for your Confluence instance with an internal proxy service. The Linchpin Mobile Confluence App is not able to establish a connection to the Linchpin Mobile Cloud Gateway hosted by //SEIBERT/MEDIA.

Our experience shows that this issue is not applying to all proxy configurations. Some proxy services work out of the box while others don't.

Cause

Routing Confluence's outgoing requests via an internal proxy might cause the communication between the Linchpin Mobile Confluence App and the Gateway to fail since there is currently no way to manually configure proxy settings.

Resolution

If possible, deactivate proxy routing for your Confluence instance and try to set up a connection again.
