What is a signup deadline for your event?

A signup deadline is a time or date before which you must register for an event.

The signup deadline ensures that you can only register until the signup deadline.

How do I add a signup deadline to my event?

You can add a signup deadline to your already exisiting event or when you first create the event.

How do I add a signup deadline to an already existing event?

To do so, click on the three dot menu within the Event Hub and select "Edit event". In the tab "Event details" you can find the checkbox "Endable signup deadline" underneath the Enddate and the check box "Full-day event".

Check the "Enable signup deadline" box and add the date of the signup deadline as well as the time.

Note: The wording of the checkbox has now changed to "Disable signup deadline"

Click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

How do I add a signup deadline when creating an event?

To do so, click on the "Create event" button to create a new event in the Event Hub.

In the tab "Event details" you can find the checkbox "Endable signup deadline" underneath the Enddate and the check box "Full-day event".

Check the "Enable signup deadline" box and add the date of the signup deadline as well as the time.

Note: The wording of the checkbox has now changed to "Disable signup deadline"

Click on the "Save" button to save the changes.

How does it look like when a signup deadline is added to an event in the user interface and how do I see if the signup dealine has expired?

When a signup has expired (left) you won't be able to sign up for this event anymore. The usual "Sign me up" button has changed into "Deadline expired" with a lock icon.

If the signup deadline has not yet expired, the signup deadline will be shown underneath the date of the event (right). The deadline will showcase the date as well as the time.

This information is visible wherever events with additional information are being displayed.
