For a step-by-step tutorial on how to enable push notifications for your instance please see here.
Please note: In order to send push notifications to mobile devices, Linchpin Mobile is using the Firebase Cloud Messaging service (FCM) by Google. By enabling the push notification feature you agree that some data related to the content pushed will be sent to a Google server.
A typical request sent to the FCM service by Linchpin Mobile contains the following information:
This is the blogpost's identifier (set by Confluence).
Defines the type of content that is being pushed (set by Linchpin Mobile).
This is your Confluence instance's identifier (set by Confluence).
A preview of the news post's content (up to 150 characters) or - if available - the intro text provided by the author of the blog post (requires Linchpin Enterprise News app for Confluence).
Li Europan lingues es membres del sam familie. Lor separat existentie es un myth. Por scientie, musica, sport etc, litot Europa usa li sam vocabular.
The title of the news post that is being pushed.
How to disable push notifications
If using Google services does not comply with your company's regulations you can disable the feature completely by switching it off. By doing so, no data regarding your Confluence instance is sent to Google.
For a step-by-step tutorial on how to disable all push features please see here.
