We don't recommend placing other macros within the Linchpin Teaser macro.
Placing another macros within the Linchpin Teaser macro might cause problems with either macro – both functionally and visually.
Example: In this GIF you can see a Linchpin Teaser macro which includes:
a link to our Linchpin website;
an Event macro.
As you can see, the clickable elements (which include some sort of a link themselves) are not compatible with each other. For example, you can't open the event anymore because the link inside the Linchpin Teaser macro is triggered.
Teaser types "Image" and "Icon" are available only since version 2.12 of Linchpin Theme. If your version is 2.11 or lower, you can't use those teaser types.
