You can use Confluence in many ways, from collecting ideas loosely together, through to use cases that require ISO certification. The various use cases naturally differ when managing content, workflows and importance. To maintain your Confluence content to a high level of quality, and detect, revise and archive content that is no longer correct or valid, you need to regularly spend time performing content reviews. The Archiving app supports this process by letting you set a  schedule for reviewing and revising pages. Of course, you can set an approval process to precede the archival process.
