How is personal data stored?





What data is collected?



As data controller, //SEIBERT/MEDIA processes the following categories of personal data: 

  • First name, last name, email address, user avatar, country, job title, phone number, fax number, company name, used products of //SEIBERT/MEDIA etc.
  • Personal data sent by the customer’s web browser, i.e. browser type, operating system, IP address etc.

Where and how long is the data stored? 



As a certified Google partner, we ensure that all processed data is secured within the EU and thus according to GDPR standards. (More specifically: The data is stored on the Google server in Belgium - europe-west1.)

Personal data will be kept by //SEIBERT/MEDIA as long as it's necessary to provide the customer with the requested services. If //SEIBERT/MEDIA no longer needs the customer's personal data to comply with contractual or legal obligations, the data will be deleted from the systems or anonymized.

How is the collected data used?



We use the services of the Google Cloud Platform, specifically Google Firebase.

The purpose of this type of services is performance monitoring, authentication etc. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

How is personal data handled?



Who can access personal data?



The recipients of your data are service providers and companies that are required for the operation and maintenance of the services and act on a legal basis for us, according to Art. 6, 44 ff. GDPR. 

Who can process personal data?



If the information we have stored about you is not (or no longer) correct, you can request it to be corrected. If your data is incomplete, you can request it to be completed.

Who can erase personal data?


You can request the deletion of your personal data under the conditions of §17 GDPR. Your claim for deletion depends, among other things, on whether the data concerning you is covered by a right of retention or is still needed for us to fulfill our statutory obligations.
