News section
Here you can configure which news should be displayed within the Corporate news section of Linchpin Mobile.
If no news sections are configured here, all news will be displayed.
If you wish to display only specific news sections, add them to the filter.
You can also enable push notifications for individual news sections.
Navigate to Confluence administration → Linchpin Mobile → News → News Section.
Select a news section from the drop down menu. Then, click on the Add button.
Repeat this step for every news section you want to include in Linchpin Mobile.
If you wish to enable push notifications, activate the slider next to the new section's title.
If you wish to remove a news section, click on the Delete button.

Push notifications
By default, push notifications are disabled.
You can enable push notifications for your users.
Please note that Linchpin Mobile push notifications use the Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) service by Google. If push notifications are enabled, some data will be sent to a Google server.

Navigate to Confluence administration → Linchpin Mobile → News → Push notifications.
Activate the Enable push notifications (global) button.

News tabs
You can change the display name of the two main section inside the news tab.
In the Left tab field, enter the name for the corporate news feed.
In the Right tab field, enter the name for the personal news feed. If you wish to deactivate the personal news feed, disable the slider button next to the text field.
Finally, click on the Save button to confirm the changes.
