Say Hello to Linchpin Essentials! 👋
Since the launch of Linchpin and the release of the individual Linchpin apps on the Atlassian marketplace, we have continued to further develop our products. From several, individual app modules we've been able to combine everything into seamless software solutions: Linchpin Intranet Suite and Linchpin Essentials. In order to continue offering a professional product, we want to implement changes and solutions in order to meet the demands for more productivity and efficiency.
The app Linchpin Theme will no longer be offered as a standalone app. The sale of these app will be phased out of the Atlassian Marketplace in June of 2021. The entire functionality of the app has been taken over and will soon become exclusively available to the customers of the Linchpin Essentials app. This is a strategic decision that will consolidate and contribute to the strengthening of our app portfolio in relation to Linchpin.
You can still continue to use the Linchpin Theme app if your current version of Confluence still supports it. Should your Confluence version be incompatible with the Linchpin Theme app, the functionality of the app will be lost. You will still be entitled to support for the duration the term that you purchased.
For the customers who are currently only using the Linchpin Theme app, you will need to migrate over to the Linchpin Essentials app by the end of your license validity.
Please note that you will require a valide license for the Linchpin Essentials app. You will incur no additional costs as both apps (Linchpin Essentials & Linchpin Theme) have the same price. However you will see some new functions, for example, Linchpin Profiles.
