Summary & Highlights

Welcome to Linchpin Intranet Suite 3.2!

The Linchpin Intranet Suite 3.2 release contains many patches for Linchpin. In addition, all apps are compatible with the read-only modeWe fixed several bugs and improved the user experience while also introducing some new features.

We prepared a short summary of the most important changes, so you can keep track of them. If you want more info about a specific function, use the navigation to jump to this function's release notes.

Today, we begin with Linchpin Events. We improved the "Event" macro. It now shows more than only 15 events within the preview, and more importantly, it now shows the correct events within the preview. Furthermore, time zone problems were fixed. Full-day events are now displayed correctly across all time zones. Also, users can now duplicate every event they are able to view.

Let's continue with the Microblog. We improved the Microblog editor once again. Two new main features are available now. You can use H1 and H2 headings. And the link tool has been upgraded. The link tool now displays your recently viewed Confluence pages, so you can link them with one click. And if you wish to link other Confluence pages, just use the built-in search bar. You can, of course, link anything outside of Confluence, too. Furthermore, the Microblog now uses the Confluence markup language.

Linchpin Personalized Content received a new macro! It is now possible to include whole pages in other pages - use the new "Profile Based Page" macro to do so. No need for an excerpt anymore. Also, the app is now compatible with Data Center's read-only mode.

Other apps like Linchpin Enterprise News and Linchpin User Profiles received some important bugfixes. Make sure to read the release notes below!
