Solution Owner: Linchpin


Hi! I am Katja Weingärtner, the solution owner for Linchpin, the best social intranet in the world. At //SEIBERT/MEDIA, a solution owner is basically a product manager. Together with my product owner colleagues, I work passionately to improve and extend our product, which has grown tremendously over the past few years, into an even more powerful solution.

Coming from a design background, I have developed an enthusiasm for software and technology as well as for agile corporate culture at //SEIBERT/MEIDIA. Both areas can be found in Linchpin. Despite continuing towards digitalization, I consistently ask myself: What can we do to help people do their jobs more easily? And how can software help companies establish a respectful and modern work culture?

Currently: Employee in one of the Scrum Teams at //SEIBERT/MEDIA, main focused on conceptual and UI design, usability, business analysis
Since 2009: Creative Director at //SEIBERT/MEDIA, head of design, responsible for 4 employees, Main focus: conceptual design, consulting and managing web, software and corporate design projects; in the course of the company's shift towards an agile organization Katja Weingärtner supported the integration of the formerly separate design department into the interdisciplinary development teams.
2006 - 2009: Art Director at //SEIBERT/MEDIA/DESIGN
2003 - 2006: Freelancer for various creative agencies and independent designer
2003:  Study-related internship at Q Kreativgesellschaft mbH in Wiesbaden

Since we became agile in 2012: Member of many Scrum teams, focused on conceptual and UI design, usability, business analysis.
