2.3.4 Release Notes

Receive your daily digest for selected spaces only

New Features:

  • You can now receive your daily digest for selected spaces only
  • Confluence 5.10 compatibility (Release 2.3.2)

Enhancements:

  • Showing space names instead of spaces keys now
  • Showing real names of likers instead of user names now

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with missing daily digest mails in certain cases
  • Fixed formatting of microposts in search results
  • Fixed an issue interfering with space categories administration
  • Fixed an issue concerning the application header in single post view
  • Fixed display of likes when full names contain commas (Release 2.3.2)
  • Fixed image preview in Confluence 5.10 (Release 2.3.3)
  • Fixed an SQL error concerning the daily digest for users without relevant space permissions.

Known Issues:

  • "Save" shortcut tooltip is shown twice in microblogs on pages
  • Switching to the full screen mode of the editor (Ctrl+Shift+F) causes a layout bug in older confluence versions
  • Some emoticons (e.g., iPhone emoticons) will lead to database errors in MySQL and the micropost cannot be saved (this is a general MySQL issue), see the Administration Guide

Upgrading from 1.x to 2.x

  • When upgrading, during the first installation of the 2.x version, all existing microposts will be migrated to belong to new default topics. This migration process may take quite some time. Please refer to the administration guide for more information.
  • Also the macro "microblog" doesn't exist anymore. All its features are now included in the new macro "Microblog timeline".
