Summary

This version improves support for mobile rendering of some Confluence macros so you can stay up to date when on the go even better. We also added interactions for many profile fields making it easier and faster to get in contact with your colleagues.

Features

  • Optimized mobile macro rendering for: Status, Warning, Info, Note, Tip, Panel, Jira (all bundled with Confluence), Profile (Linchpin User Profiles). More to come in future versions.

  • File attachments for Confluence pages now display the filetype.

  • A lot of profile fields now trigger actions when tapping them so you can get in contact with your colleagues even faster (e.g., phone, email, URL).

  •  A new publicly accessible section can now provide basic information on the app or the corresponding company. Note: This feature requires a custom branded app based on Linchpin Mobile - see http://seibert.biz/linchpinmobilebranding

Improvements & Bugfixes

  • Fixed various errors with macro rendering.

  • Improved keyboard behavior when performing a search.

  • This release of the Linchpin Mobile Device Apps (iOS + Android) requires Linchpin Mobile Confluence App version 1.0.0 or later.
  • This release of the Linchpin Mobile Confluence App requires Linchpin Mobile Device App version 1.0.0 or later.

Please note that full functionality can only be guaranteed if you use the most recent version of both components named above.

Confluence

  • This release of Linchpin Mobile requires Atlassian Confluence Server version 5.10.0 or later.

In order to get the most out of Linchpin Mobile you need to meet the following requirements for the corresponding sections within Linchpin Mobile:

  • News: This release of Linchpin Mobile requires the Confluence app 'Enterprise News Bundle' version 1.6.2 or later.
  • Microblog: This release of Linchpin Mobile requires the Confluence app 'Microblogging for Confluence' version 3.1.1 or later.
  • Contacts: This release of Linchpin Mobile requires the Confluence app 'Custom User Profile' version 2.3 or later.
