1.11 Release Notes

Have LDAP and Confluence-only users and fill their profile values from different sources

Features:

• Add an LDAP attribute name to each CUP profile field: The user's profile can be filled either from a user directory or by the user itself in Confluence. So you can have directory users and "Confluence-only" users at the same time. When an LDAP attribute is configured for a profile field and the user exists in the directory, the user cannot edit the profile field within Confluence.

Enhancements:

• The Custom User Profile Plugin works now on Confluence 5.8

Known Issues:

• If you want to use an existing user field for the chart display of superior and subordinates, all subordinates have to save their profile again in order to be displayed in the org chart of their superior.

1.11.2 Release Notes

Hidden profile fields are no longer searchable; bugfix in profile picture upload.

Release 1.11.2 is a bug-fix release. Take a look at the new features and other highlights in the 1.11 Release Notes. (Release 1.11.1 was an internal release)

Fixes:

• Saving multiselect profile fields within the profile completion assistant works correctly now.
• The profile picture upload has been fixed for Internet Explorer.
• An issue in the administration interface has been fixed.

Enhancements:

• Hidden profile fields can not be found in Confluence search and other macros anymore.

Known Issues:

• Changing visibility of profile fields will not affect the search until the search index is rebuilt.
• If you want to use an existing user field for the chart display of superior and subordinates, all subordinates have to save their profile again in order to be displayed in the org chart of their superior.

Bugfix: cropping the profile picture image works more reliable

Fixes:

• The function to crop the profile picture has been fixed for Internet Explorer.
