With Confluence you aim to collect all information centrally in the system on a long-term basis. Nevertheless, we have no clients who do not have to work with MS Office or PDF files. There are various apps available, which can support you with exporting files or prevent users from exporting files, for example, to prevent a file being accidentally overwritten by opening a file, changing it, and saving it back to the Confluence instance.

CENOTE LOCKPOINT

Lock Confluence attachments while you edit to prevent another user from accidentally overwriting it.

Open attachments directly from Confluence and save the edited files directly back to Confluence.
