Specific offers for workshops with //SEIBERT/MEDIA

Presentations at //SEIBERT/MEDIA

We offer a basic presentation at our office. We have a range of wide and professional meeting rooms, so that you can bring colleagues and partners along without any problems. The biggest benefit is probably the possibility to meet all participants of the project in person.

A presentation in our office usually takes about 1-2 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour).

Presentation via desktop sharing and telephone

A on-site presentation is always connected to effort in time and additional expenses. In many cases, companies just need orientation and support to plan their project. You are located too far away from us to visit us at our office? Then a desktop sharing presentation over the telephone is exactly what you need. Together we look at the same screen and discuss the solution on the telephone. That way we show you the basics of the wiki, software systems and create a foundation for you to value our professionalism.

A presentation via desktop sharing and telephone usually takes about 1,5 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour).

Simple presentation

This workshop contains the basic presentation of the current leading wiki systems on the market. Within this context, we focus particularly on Foswiki (open source) and Confluence (commercial). Furthermore we show you why you need more than software to run a successful company-wiki. We bring along extensive documentation and templates you can use for your internal communication later on. In addition, you will receive a deeper insight into the strategic and operative chances of a wiki, the risks that come along with the establishment, and an overview of our wide experience gained in projects with very big, multinational companies and small work groups.

A simple presentation usually takes about 4-6 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour). Additional expenses are possible and will be disclosed separately.

Jumpstart workshop to get started right away

This workshop contains a presentation as described above. In addition we will assist you “hands on” in taking your first steps with Foswiki and/or Confluence. Because wikis are developed iteratively, this is a perfect start in a wide-ranging test and the preparation for the actual use by your company. This workshop is especially interesting because we offer you a free test instance of Foswiki and Confluence for a period of 30 days (or even 60 or 90 days upon request) within the framework of the workshop. This environment is perfect to gain wiki-experiences.

Many of our customers have booked this workshop to prepare initial “best practices” together with us and to be able to work them out afterwards. Because presenting “real examples” instead of showing colourful pictures will make it so much easier for you to convince your boss. The jumpstart workshop leads you straight into using the wiki and allows you to get started right away.

It’s the most reasonable and easiest way to get started with the wiki.

A jumpstart workshop usually takes about 4-8 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour). Additional expenses are possible and will be disclosed separately.

Pre-study and feasibility analysis

A pre-study and feasibility analysis contains the presentation (described above) as well as the jumpstart workshop but goes one step further. Pre-studies with //SEIBERT/MEDIA are the most professional procedure we offer and a systematic process towards a successful company-wiki. This is where our consultants analyse and evaluate the challenges and chances of your existing processes within your company. You’ll gain insights into strategy, the success factors organisation, culture and technics of a wiki, the software systems and its control. You’ll develop best practices with the help of a test-wiki and create “real results”. Furthermore we develop a professional presentation, that will be the best basis for your internal decision for or against a company-wiki.

This offer is mostly booked by bigger companies, that depend on a professional, complete and high quality process of decision preparation.

If desired, we will join the presentation of the pre-study results and feasibility analysis to the management.

A pre-study and feasibility analysis usually takes about 16 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour).Additional expenses are possible and will be disclosed separately.

Train-the-Trainer-Seminar: Workshop for wiki-motivation for executives

Nothing is more important than acceptance and usage of the own wiki. Your executives define the success of the wiki through their own acting and the guidance of their employees. What do you have to claim? Where is pressure needed? What doesn’t work with pressure? What works? Where should you help your employees? Where does it stop being reasonable using the wiki? How do I handle e-mails? How do I deal with wiki refuseniks? How should I react to killer arguments? What are common patterns? How do employees behave in the wiki?

Such questions and others are explained by our consultants and help your executives to answer them themselves.

The Train-the-Trainer-Seminar usually takes 6 hours and is conducted by a professional consultant (USD 200 per hour). Additional expenses are possible and will be disclosed separately.

All the prices mentioned exclude any statutory VAT applicable at time of purchase.
